About Whitehaven Marina

A 400-berth pontoon marina in Whitehaven's harbour basins on the Cumbrian coast, behind a sea lock, with quay berths for larger vessels and a boatyard.

Whitehaven Marina fills the old harbour basins next to Whitehaven town centre, facing the Irish Sea. A sea lock keeps water in the basins, and the marina says entry is possible at almost all states of the tide.

There are 400 serviced pontoon berths and quay walls for larger vessels, up to 65m and 5m draft. A fuel berth sells diesel, there is a pump-out, a slipway, a boatyard and amenity blocks with toilets, showers and laundry, and the marina is staffed day and night.

Annual berths are charged per metre by length band, with lower rates in the West Strand basin than in the Lowther and Queens basins. Monthly berths are priced per metre at different summer and winter rates.
