About Whaley Bridge L1 Leisure
A basic leisure mooring site on the Peak Forest Canal at Whaley Bridge, managed by the Canal & River Trust.
The moorings are on the towpath on the approach to Whaley Bridge canal basin. Mooring rings are provided, though mooring pins may be needed depending on boat length.
Car parking is available but spaces are not guaranteed. Shared Trust facilities about 50 metres away include drinking water, Elsan disposal and toilets. The site is for leisure use and is not suitable for full-time residential use.
