About Christchurch Harbour Moorings

BCP Council manages annual swinging and self-laid mooring licences in Christchurch Harbour, available to applicants who are not required to be local residents.

The harbour has trotline swinging moorings and self-laid moorings. Some self-laid mooring applications are currently accepted only for RIBs and other motorboats up to 7 metres.

Trotline moorings require dinghy access. Self-laid moorings in the north-east of the harbour dry at low tide.
