About Whixall Marina
A 150-berth marina at the end of the Prees Branch of the Llangollen Canal near Whixall, taking residential, leisure and winter moorers in narrowboats.
The marina sits beside Whixall Moss, part of the Fenn's, Whixall and Bettisfield Mosses nature reserve, about half an hour's cruise along the Prees Arm from the Llangollen main line. Wem and Whitchurch are a few miles away.
All berths are serviced with water and electric hook-up. The office is staffed every day from 9am to 5pm.
Facilities include a cafe, shop and chandlery, showers and toilets, launderette, dry dock, slipway, pump-out, diesel, gas and solid fuel sales, and secure parking near the berths. Holiday lodges and huts on site can be booked by visitors.
