About Whilton Marina
A long-established marina and narrowboat sales centre at Whilton Locks on the Grand Union near Daventry, with about 200 berths and a large boatyard.
Whilton Marina sells and brokers used narrowboats, and its moorings sit on metal piers beside the Grand Union main line at Whilton Locks near Daventry.
Berths have 240 volt hook-ups, with water taps and lighting on every pier, free wifi for moorers, and toilets and showers on site. The yard has two slipways, two covered wet docks, a 40-tonne hoist and an undercover workshop for blacking and refits; the chandlery sells gas, diesel and solid fuel and handles pump-outs, and there is a cafe.
Temporary moorings are offered first to people buying a boat from the marina; longer-term moorings depend on availability and are at the owners' discretion. Prices are not published.
