About Upton Marina
A large pontoon marina on the River Severn at Upton-upon-Severn taking cruisers, narrowboats, widebeams and Dutch barges.
Upton Marina is on the east bank of the Severn at Upton-upon-Severn, between Worcester and Tewkesbury. The operator describes it as the largest marina on the river, with pontoon berths for boats of all types.
Annual berths are charged per metre of overall length, with a 5m minimum and a 16m maximum charged for any craft. Narrowbeam boats and cruisers have one rate and widebeams and Dutch barges a slightly higher one. Electricity is metered through marina-supplied leads or smart cards and billed separately.
Hard standing, slipway use and pump-out are free to annual berth holders. Lifting, servicing and chandlery are run by a separate firm on site, and there is a bar and restaurant. The tariff states that residential use is not permitted.
