About Tyle Mill L1 Leisure Moorings
A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the Kennet & Avon Canal, with space for up to 11 boats in two towpath areas above and below Tyle Mill lock.
The site is for leisure boat storage between uses. Overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but the Trust says it is not suitable for full-time residential use.
Mooring rings are spaced at five metre intervals. Drinking water, Elsan disposal, pump-out and refuse facilities are provided in the nearby wharf area for boating customers; car parking nearby is unregulated and unsecured.
