About Shade House Lock

A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the Trent & Mersey Canal near Lichfield, with space for up to four vessels.

The site is approximately 125 metres long and has space for up to four vessels on the off-bank side, between Middle Lock and Shade House Lock.

It is for leisure use. Overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but full-time residential use is unsuitable. Drinking water, refuse and elsan disposal are available at the separate Canal & River Trust site at Fradley Junction.
