About Sawley Lock L1 Leisure
A Canal & River Trust leisure mooring site on the River Trent near Long Eaton, with towpath berths for canal boats and widebeams.
The site has approximately 260 metres of towpath moorings for up to 12 vessels. It is for leisure use; overnight stays and occasional longer visits are welcome, but full-time residential use is not suitable.
Drinking water points are located along the site, with elsan disposal and refuse disposal near the car park. The open car park is unsecured and shared with other users. The mooring site has gated access with a site-specific key.
