About Pin Mill Sailing Club
Pin Mill Sailing Club administers deep water mooring allocations on its part of the Orwell, with applications open to anyone and a waiting list.
The club leases the foreshore in front of its clubhouse and administers half tide moorings there with Babergh District Council and Associated British Ports.
The club's moorings committee administers deep water moorings on behalf of Associated British Ports. Applicants may apply for an allocation and are responsible for laying and maintaining their mooring tackle, or arranging this through a local operator.
The club says there is currently a waiting list for deep water moorings. It also has two deep water moorings for annual rent by club members at £700 each.
