About Harlow (Blackwater) Sailing Club

A membership sailing club on Lawling Creek with up to 25 seasonal moorings for shallow draft boats up to 28ft.

The club's moorings are in the bay next to its land on tidal Lawling Creek, a tributary of the River Blackwater.

Moorings suit lifting keel and shallow draft boats up to 28ft and 2.5 tonnes. Non-sailing motorised displacement craft require committee approval. Boats sit on soft mud at low tide, and moorings are generally used from mid March to November.

The club says it has moorings available. Winter storage is available in the club grounds.
