About Gunpowder Wharf (Thrupp Main Road)

A three-boat leisure mooring site on the Oxford Canal between Sparrowgap Bridge and Langford Lane Bridge.

The Canal & River Trust describes this as a long-term leisure mooring site, 60 metres long, with space for up to three boats.

Mooring rings are installed, and mooring pins may be needed depending on boat length and ring spacing. Water, elsan and refuse disposal are available at Langford Lane mooring site about 200 metres south; these facilities are not part of the mooring agreement.

The site is not suitable for full-time residential use. The Trust currently lists no vacancies.
