About Groomsport Harbour
A tidal amenity harbour in Groomsport with annual moorings for an inshore fishing fleet and up to 80 pleasure craft of 8 metres and under.
Groomsport Harbour is managed by Ards and North Down Borough Council. The council describes annual fore-and-aft moorings for two fishing boats under 10 metres and provision for up to 80 pleasure craft of 8 metres and under.
The harbour is tidal and has a slipway, drying berth, hard standing, electricity, water, waste collection, recycling and public toilets. Locked storage and waste oil collection are available by prior arrangement.
Berthing requires a harbour licence lasting 12 months from the start of the season. The council directs applicants to contact its harbours office.
