About Coquet Yacht Club
A sailing club on the River Coquet with 28 riverbed fore and aft moorings, most of them drying.
The club allocates river moorings and shore storage to members, with priority for members wishing to sail. Other vessels may be accommodated where capacity allows.
Most moorings dry; a few retain about 1.2 metres of draft at low water springs. Monohulls are limited to 30 feet, while larger multihulls and motor boats under 24 feet may be considered subject to the club's conditions.
Some visitor moorings are available by prior arrangement. Access to the river moorings is by tender from the club slipway.
