About Caernarfon Harbour Trust Moorings
Annual buoy and quay-wall moorings let by Caernarfon Harbour Trust at the southern end of the Menai Strait, in the River Seiont and off Port Dinorwic.
Caernarfon Harbour Trust is the harbour authority for the southern Menai Strait around Caernarfon. It lets moorings in the River Seiont, along the Caernarfon quay wall and at Port Dinorwic, and also runs the Victoria Dock marina in the town.
Annual charges for Trust buoys and quay berths are a per-metre mooring fee plus harbour dues, which every boat over 5m in the harbour limits pays. Small craft up to 5m can take drying foreshore moorings beside the Aber swing bridge at a flat fee. Owners who lay their own gear pay a private mooring licence.
Winter storage ashore with craning in and out is offered from October to March. Applications for a mooring are made on the Trust's form.
