Birkwood Lock L1 is an offside mooring site on the Aire & Calder Navigation, approximately 60 metres long.

The nearest water point is at Kings Road Lock, a short cruise away. There are no dedicated customer parking spaces, and the site has no facilities block or gated access. It is for leisure use and is not suitable for full-time residential use.
